The Monitoring Association and MCP Partner to Redefine Alarm Notifications

Revolutionizing 911 Emergency Response with ASAP Service Innovations

Welcome to a new era of alarm notifications. The Monitoring Association (TMA) is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with Mission Critical Partners (MCP) to power the growth and innovation of its Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) Service.MCP-TheMonitoringAssociation-1

ASAP is the industry-leading, standards-based service for the digital dispatch of alarm events to 911 centers. Since its introduction in 2011, ASAP has helped public safety agencies reduce the time it takes to dispatch first responders, enabling faster and more informed responses that improve outcomes and save lives and property.

The Next Generation of ASAP Service

TMA's multi-year managed services agreement with MCP will supercharge the rollout of ASAP’s next-generation, cloud-based solution. This new solution will enable the real-time sharing of rich data—camera video streams, health information, photos, and interior blueprints—dramatically improving situational awareness for emergency responders.

About the Partnership

Raising the Bar

Working collaboratively, TMA and MCP will supercharge the rollout of the ASAP Service and drive the development of ASAP’s next-generation, cloud-based solution, raising the bar for the digital dispatch of alarm events to 911 centers.

More About ASAP

The solution leverages the Alarm Validation Scoring (AVS-01) standard, which estimates the validity or potential threat level of a burglar/intrusion alarm activation and helps 911 authorities and responder agencies make better-informed response decisions.

Common Goal

At MCP, the mission matters. And the same is true at TMA. This collaboration pairs two like-minded organizations seeking to improve emergency-response outcomes.

Industry Support

The ASAP solution has received widespread support by leading alarm companies, such as ADT, Affiliated Monitoring, CPI Security, Securitas, Vector Security, Vivint and more.
